Old Forge Camping Resort is excited to announce the Girl Scouts Spring Fling, scheduled for May 16-18, 2025. This special event is open to all Girl Scout troops and individual Girl Scouts.

The fun-filled weekend includes a Friday night dance and pizza party, hiking, crafts, campfire cooking, s’mores, tie-dying, and more! During Saturday’s events, we have special guest speakers discussing birds of the Adirondacks. Speakers will discuss the species that are found in the Adirondacks and how bird houses help the birds and the local ecology. All registered girls will get the opportunity to explore the great outdoors, build lasting relationships, and work towards the Outdoor Adventurer Badge!

We have an observation walk planned, where scouts can collect leaves, twigs and other woodsy items for the afternoon craft of making and decorating bird houses for each scout to take home.
Team building outdoor games are also planned for the afternoon, with a mix of camping games and skill challenges!

Each registered scout receives an event patch and t-shirt to remember their adventure.
