Yes, we offer gift certificates in any denomination or for any type of site.
Yes you can request a certain site. We will do our best to honor your requests. Our first priority is keeping family and groups together. We also consider guests' lengths of stays, handicap accessibility and lengths of RV units. Your deposit guarantees you a type of site, not a specific site.
Yes, it is a 10-15 minute walk or you can take the free shuttle that departs daily.
Yes we gladly welcome domestic pets; however they must never be left unattended at the site, always kept on a leash in the campground, and most importantly cleaned up after. It is always a good idea to bring your pet's vaccination records with you.
Most campsites can accommodate 2 vehicles. We have additional parking options for more than 2 vehicles.
We do not have a swimming pool in the campground, but we have a small man-made lake that offers a beach area for swimming. We are also located next door to the Enchanted Forest/Water Safari which has many refreshing pools and fun water rides.
We do allow non-motorized boats, and if you don't bring your own we rent paddleboats, rowboats, and canoes.
Fishing is allowed in our lake and no license is required.
We do not offer a AAA discount, but we do sell a camper card. The cost is $10 and you receive a 2 year membership, and 10% off your total stay on any site excluding Cottages.
Reservations are suggested due to how fast we usually book up, especially on weekends and over holidays.
We accept reservations up to one year in advance. We require the first night's deposit to secure your reservation at the time of booking. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover or you may send in a Money Order (NO PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED).
We do not offer a weekly rate, however we do have lower nightly rates during the week in Fall, Winter and Spring.
You sure can! Every site comes complete with a fire circle for your marshmallow roasting pleasure!
We do not have bike rentals on the premises; however they are available at a few sporting shops in town.
There are grills outside the Cottages only. All other sites come equipped with a fire circle and a picnic table. You could bring a small grill with you, or a grill top which we have for sale in our campstore located on the premises.
We are just an 1/8 mile up the road from the park. It's a short 10-15 minute walk on a direct path from the campground or you can take the free shuttle bus.
Check-In is after 2:00pm daily.
Check out is promptly at 11:00 am.
We do not offer cable hook up. You can watch free satellite TV in the family lounge at the Main Lodge.
Our cabins and cottages are not equipped with telephones or televisions. However, we do offer TV/DVD rentals for a nominal charge.
If someone should call to leave a message it will be posted on the camper message board outside of the Main Lodge. Emergency messages will be delivered to a site.
Due to the safety of everyone in the campgroud we do not allow ATV's in our campground.
Yes, we have a Camp Store located right in the Main Lodge that carries a variety of camping supplies, souvenirs and your basic grocery items.
If you have forgotten it we probably carry it in our Camp Store!
Tents can be put up on cabin sites as long as there are no more than 6 people maximum (regardless of age) on the site. Any tents that are put up on any site other than a designated tent site must be secured with PLASTIC stakes only, due to the electric and propane lines underground. Tents are NOT allowed on cottage sites.
Yes, we offer a FREE shuttle that departs daily from the campground.
Cabins do not have any facilities. They come equipped with a double bed and a set of bunk beds. They are sleeping quarters only. You would have to walk to one of our seven centrally located bathroom and shower facilities located throughout the campground. At each bathroom we have a Camp Kitchen equipped with a stovetop and sink.
No, there are no air conditioners in the Cabins or Cottages. Our cool Adirondack nights provide for a comfortable nights sleep, or you may bring a fan if you wish.
We have a 6 person maximum per site. If you have more than 6 you must rent another site. All of our rates are based on two people and the additonal charges for adults are $6/night, and children between the ages of 6-17 are $4/night.
Each Cabin comes equipped with a double bed, and a set of bunk beds. You must bring all your bedding, sheets, towels, pillows, sleeping bags etc. It's like camping with a roof over your head.
You should bring all of your kitchenware, pots, pans, utensils, coffee maker, and all of your bedding. The Cottages come equipped with 2 double beds and a single bunk above each double. Bring your sheets, towels, blankets, pillows, sleeping bags etc.
We have our own small private Lake Serene that has a family beach area for swimming. We have two playgrounds and you may bring bikes for the kids to ride in the campground. We have a nature trail that is great for the family to take a short hike together, and view the wildlife of the Adirondacks. We have volleyball and basketball areas and an arcade on the premises.
Yes, there are. We stock our lake with Small Mouth Bass and Blue Gill Fish.
Our campground is located on 130 acres of woodland setting, that allows for semi private, partially sunny and shaded sites.
Yes, for a nominal fee you may send and receive faxes at the Main Lodge.
They sure are. Enchanted Forest/Water Safari is New York's Largest Water Theme Park. With over 50 rides and attractions, including 31 water rides, there's something for every member of the family.
Adults 12 & older are $26.95. Children 3-11 are $23.95 and 2 and under are FREE. Prices include admission to the park, all rides, shows & attractions including unlimited Water Rides featuring heated water. Re-entry ability throughout the day.
We are now the Old Forge Camping Resort. We changed our name but everything else remains the same...Same owners, facilities, wonderful staff, and exceptional campground!
We do not currently offer cottage packages. You can book a package with any other type of site Sundays-Thursdays only.

We are open year round! The campground transforms into a winter wonderland. Ride the 500 miles of groomed snowmobile trails, cross-country and alpine ski, snow shoe, or just get away from it all.

Yes, for your convenience we offer 93 Octane gas for snowmobiles in the winter only. We also have propane available year-round.
Water is available until Columbus Day on the sites. After that time, water is available in the Main Lodge and Restrooms only.
Yes, they are heated with propane and operate off a thermostat.
Yes, we offer our Camper Card that entitles you to 10% off any site in our Campground excluding Cottages. Membership may be purchased at the Campground when you check-in for $10 and is good for 2 years. The Camper Card cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts or coupons.
Yes there is a $5.00 cancellation fee on all reservations if cancelled 5 days prior to arrival (FOR STAY 'N PLAY PACKAGES YOU WOULD RECEIVE A REFUND FOR CAMPING LESS A $5.00 FEE, BUT YOUR TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND GOOD FOR THE ENTIRE SEASON IN WHICH THEY ARE ORDERED). If cancellation occurs within 5 days of arrival, the deposit is forfeited.
This Siesta Savings offer is valid only at the Enchanted Forest/Water Safari only. If you enter the park after 3:00 pm, you receive a pass to enter the next day for no-charge. This offer is not valid when redeeming a Siesta Pass.
Yes, we do offer tickets for $24.00 for anyone ages 3 years and older. The tickets must be purchased 5 days in advance over the phone. Tickets are non-refundable. They are not available for purchase at the Campground upon your arrival. If you arrive without purchasing them in advance you may purchase them at the gate.
We do not have the electrical supply to be able to allow campers to run their air conditioning. If you have your own generator you are welcome to use that to run your air conditioning between the hours of 8am-10pm.
